Photographer (b. 1994) living and working in New York, NY. His work is characterized by a natural tone, guided by intuition and empathy. He became interested in photography while
growing up in Nashville, TN; getting his start by observing local musicians. Drawn towards the personal, Maddox sets out to capture the human condition in a meaningful and cinematic way. Overall, his body of work aims to communicate an air of love between people.
His work has appeared in select publications including, American Chordata, Atmos Magazine, TIME Magazine, Interview Magazine, Wire Magazine, Crack Magazine, The FADER, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, PAPER Magazine, New York Magazine, and The New York Times. His work has been collected by the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. His work has been
exhibited in the United States and internationally.
